When we share information
We do not sell personal information. We may share limited data with service providers who help us operate the site (e.g., analytics, email delivery, content delivery/spam protection). These providers process data on our instructions and under appropriate safeguards.
We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a merger or transfer of site assets.
Cookies & analytics
We use cookies to operate features, remember preferences, measure performance, and understand readership. For details, including how to manage consent and disable non-essential cookies, see our Cookie Policy.
We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage (pages visited, referrers, device types). IP addresses may be truncated or anonymized where supported.
Advertising & affiliate links
From time to time, posts may contain affiliate links to products we use or recommend. If you click and purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Any such links will not change the price you pay and help keep our content free.
If we run display advertising, our ad partners (e.g., Ezoic/Google Ad Manager) may set cookies or similar technologies to deliver and measure ads subject to your consent and local laws. See the Cookie Policy for controls.
Comments & user content
When visitors leave comments, we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address (a “hash”) may be provided to a Gravatar service to show a profile image if you use it. After approval, your comment and name are publicly visible.
